Ep3 - Bhagwad Gita Karmanyeva Dhikaraste - My Presentation On Weekly Townhall at Solutions 8

What better topic than talking about the philosophy of Karma at workplace?

We are after all here for Karma Yoga right?

On our weekly townhall yesterday it was my turn to present and I choose to discuss this one verse from Shri Mad Bhagvad Gita:

 

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन |

मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ||

 

karmaṇye vadhikaraste maphaleṣhu kadachana

ma karma phala hetur bhur ma te sango ’stvakarmaṇi

 

I started by giving a little bit of background on The Mahabharata, the longest epic ever written with 100,000 verses, followed by a primer on what dilemma Arjuna's faces at the battlefield of Kurukshetra and how Krishna his charioteer goes on deliver the 700 verses of Bhagwad Gita.

Gita - the book of all answers to me, should be read by every evolved mind, specially those who get frustrated and depressed and quit because of not getting the outcome they really wished for.
